Garland Reinforced Bitumen Membrane

Description:

This project involved overlaying the existing flat roof coverings and replacing with a Garland Stress Ply Flex Plus Bituminous Waterproofing Warm Roof System including the renewal fascia’s, soffits and guttering.

The project was undertaken during spring/summer on an occupied school site. As such ensuring robust health and safety practice was essential, completing risk assessments (including scaffolding sub-contractor), methods statements, and the Site Safety Plan prior to works commencing.

Sussex Asphalte operated as the main contractor at this project. This required the management and co-ordination of other sub-contractors alongside our own operatives: scaffolders; welfare unit provision;  and a cladding contractor. As an approved installer of Garland Waterproofing Systems, whose operatives have been fully trained in the installation of this system. The materials,  performance and labour on the St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School Project carry a guarantee of 30 years.
