Established in 1948 Sussex Asphalte is a family owned professional asphalt and felt roofing specialists.Founded by Jospeh and Guillietta Secchi, Sussex Asphalte were soon established along the south coast. During the early 1960's the second generation of the close family slowly took the reins, son and daughter with their mother have built up a reputation second to none. Mr Coulter (since 1969) and both his sons, make up the full family compliment, as son in law and grandsons to Joseph and Guillietta.

In April this year to help further growth as one of the premier companies in the south we switched to a Limited company making the 3rd generation, Julian and Matthew Coulter Directors. After a collective 45 years learning the ropes and it is hoped that with careful guidance in the old fashioned way of business, new fresh ideas and a modern approach, Sussex Asphalte will be able to give an even better standard of service in future years.
