Description:
Sussex Asphalte were appointed main contractor on this project to renew the flat roof to this two storey residential block of flats due to water ingress. Covering 165m² the installation was undertaken in the spring of 2021 in which we stripped back of the existing system and the Woodwool deck and the installed an exterior grade OSB deck with firings, and a Moy Paraflex Warm Roof System with 120mm PIR flat board insulation.
As main contractor this project required the management and co-ordination of other sub-contractors alongside our own operatives: scaffolders; welfare unit provision; and a gas safety engineer.
The application of Moy Materials by Sussex Asphalte extended the lifespan of the roof by a further 20 years whilst offering total safety, minimal disruption and noise to the residents below.
