Description:
Sussex Asphalte was the main contractor on this project to overlay the RBM to this four-storey residential block of flats.
Covering 700m² the materials selected for this project was a Moy Materials RBM system comprising of; Moy Impertene Bitumen Primer, Moy Eurogum Torch Applied Underlay, Moy Paraflex ARD/S charoal mineral capsheet. Sussex Asphalte also upgraded the insulation during these works to achieve current Building Regulations. In addition to the renewal of felt, Sussex Asphalte also installed new rainwater outlets and service vent pipes and carefully removed existing aerials and satellite dishes and re-positioned clear of new membranes, ensuring full service was maintained, including removal and re-positioning of TV cables to cappings, matching similar existing fixings and detailing.
