Built up Felt (SIG)

Description:

This project entailed stripping all finishes back to existing concrete structural deck and replacing with SIG bituminous system including new cut to falls insulation. An extra layer of felt was laid as a walkway around the roof for any future maintenance or service works to be carried out without causing any damage to the newly laid roof.

Sussex Asphalte operated as the main contractor at this project. This required the management and co-ordination of other sub-contractors alongside our own operatives including scaffolders and welfare unit provision. As an approved installer of SIG Bituminous Waterproofing Systems, Sussex Asphalte’s  operatives have been fully trained in this system. The materials,  performance and labour on the Aynsley Court project carry a single point guarantee of 20 years.
