On Friday 14th June our directors Julian & Matthew Coulter attended the Annual Celebration of Achievements in the Mastic Asphalt Industry. Once again hosted at the Royal Horseguards Hotel in London, the mastic asphalt industry’s most impressive projects and professionals are recognised at this years awards ceremony.
Attended by almost 150 key players in the mastic asphalt sector, the event which is one of the most prestigious in the calendar for the roofing industry was a great sucess and Sussex Asphalte as a longstanding MAC member enjoy attending each year to honour the top projects and professionals.
A massive congratulations to Alf Turano of Hackney City College who won Outstanding Contribution to the Mastic Asphalt Industry, so very well deserved and has trained all our mastic asphalt apprentices for the last 12 years and kept the course going each year!
At the event, an impressive sum of £3,500 was also raised for Demelza Hospice which provides care and support for seriously ill babies, children, young people and their families, across East Sussex, Kent and South East London.
